Pete Nieminen has been appointed CIO of Enfo
Pete Nieminen has been appointed CIO, and will head Information Management at Enfo, beginning 13 May, 2016. Nieminen arrives from Atea Finland, where he worked as CTO and Executive Advisor to the management, related to both the external customers and internal development and IT.
Prior to Atea Finland, Nieminen worked as the CIO at the Salomaa Group, which is the largest family owned company group, focusing on marketing and consulting in the Nordic region.
Nieminen also has considerable experience from working on IT related tasks outside of his daily work. He has worked, for example, as the Chairman of the Board of Finnish Information Security Association and as a Member of the Board in Finnish Information Processing Association. TiVi magazine placed Nieminen among the top 100 ICT influencers in Finland for 10 years in a row between 2005–2015.
Digitalization, IoT and cybersecurity are Nieminen’s primary competence areas.
