Enfo to acquire Rongo and expand its operations in BI and analytics .

Through the transaction, 75 experts in information management will transfer to Enfo. The merger will strengthen Enfo’s strategy, with the aim of growing into a significant solution supplier for the digital era in the Nordic countries.

Rongo, which made it onto the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 list of growth companies last year, has solid experience in information management and how information can enable more effective business operations. The company has grown profitably, despite the challenging market situation in Finland. Its customers mainly include large and medium-sized Finnish companies that operate internationally.

Until now, Enfo has focused on IT and financial process services in Finland. Enfo is now expanding its offering to target similar overall solutions for business needs at Finnish customers. Rongo’s special expertise in BI and analytics complements Enfo’s current service range in Finland in both the outsourcing of financial processes and IT.

Enfo Group’s BI and analytics operations have grown steadily in Sweden since the company started offering services in this business area four years ago. Combined with the Rongo acquisition, Enfo will be among the largest BI and analytics businesses in the Nordics. Analytics is one of the main trends in the IT market, and a major reason for the enlargement in the Finnish market.

The companies are not disclosing the purchase price. The transaction leaves Enfo with 885 employees – 425 in Finland and 460 in Sweden.
