Enfo confirmed ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications on environmental and quality management systems

Enfo has renewed its ISO 14001 certification concerning its environmental management system (EMS) in an external interim audit. At the same time, Enfo renewed its ISO 9001 certification related to its quality management system (QMS) for a new three-year period.
Enfo is committed to have an environmental and quality management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO standards. Enfo currently holds an ISO 14001 certificate covering the whole Group. The ISO 9001 certification currently covers business area Care & Data Platforms in Finland. In the audit conducted by Kiwa Inspecta, Enfo passed both the ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 audits without non-conformities.
“We are pleased to announce that we successfully passed our surveillance audit for our ISO 14001 and re-certification audit for ISO 9001 certification. It proofs Enfo’s capabilities and our structured approach towards environmental and quality management,” says General Counsel Antti Hemmilä.
An environmental management system is a framework that helps an organization achieve its environmental goals through consistent review, evaluation, and improvement of its environmental performance.
A quality management system is a framework that documents processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives. It helps coordinate and direct an organization’s activities to meet customer and regulatory requirements and improve its effectiveness and efficiency on a continuous basis. Going forward, Enfo aims at implementing ISO 9001 best practices throughout the whole Group.
In addition to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, Enfo’s holds the ISO/IEC 27001 certificate covering information security management within Enfo’s business area Care & Data Platforms in Finland. Enfo is also the first company in Finland to achieve security assessment classification level III under the national Katakri 2020 criteria.
